User Admin
The Administrative tool User Admin can be used to manage user accounts, perform password resets, log in as the user and manage permissions for the account.
Accessing User Admin Tool1. Click the menu icon in the upper-most right-hand corner of the screen, and select the "Administration" option.2. The system opens the "Administration" window. Add New User
Account Info
1. Click the Request Account button. 2. The system opens the "Account Info" tab of the user set up form (see image on right). 3. Input an email address into the "Email/Username" input field. Please Note: The username MUST be a valid email address for reports, controller files, and other various parts of the system to function properly. 4. Input a name into the "Full Name" input field. 5. Input a state or province into the "State" input field. 6. Input a zip code into the "Zipcode" input field (if applicable). Please Note: All other Account Info input fields are optional, and only used for record keeping purposes. 7. Click the Account Access tab, then follow steps below. |
Account Access
8. Leave the "Active" check box checked if account should have current and active access to the system. Un-check to temporarily de-activate account. [5] 9. Select desired Access Methods. [6] Selecting "Web" check box gives the user access to the desktop website interface. Selecting "Mobile" gives the user access to the mobile app interface. 10. Select an "Access Level" within the Access Level drop-down menu. [7] Please Note: Access Level refers to the system tools and permissions available to the account. See "Access Levels Explained" subsection below for more help with access levels.
11. Select a profile level input within the "Profile Level" drop-down menu. [8] For example, in the image on right, profile level "Business Unit" was selected, so the profile selection area makes only the Business Unit level folders selectable. 12. 13. Click the Module Access tab. 14. Select any tabs the user should be able to see 15. Select any tab the user should see, but not interact with, under the "Read Only" heading. 16. Click the Advanced Permissions tab, and follow continued help below. |

17. Select any desired advanced permissions for user account. Please Note: Some of the third party options (such as "Adapt-N Purchaser" and "Satshot Purchaser") are billable upon use. See Separate Bill Chart on right. 18. Click the Save Changes button. Editing User AccountsEdit a user account by clicking the user account within the left hand user panel, and editing it as desired. Click "Save Changes" button when finished. |

Setting Up a VAR Representative
"VAR Representative" User types can be given access to any Grower, by any user that has access to that Grower. See Steps below: 1. Follow steps above to open the "User Admin" tool and click the Add User button. 2. Click the "Account Access" tab of "User Admin", and select "Access Level " "VAR Representative". 3. Click back to the "Account Info" tab of the User Admin tool. There is now a new input field in the Account Info tab, called "Rep ID" (see image on right) Input a unique ID and set up all other desired permissions and details. 4. Save User. Now any user with access to a Grower can give the "VAR Representative " access to the Grower by inputting the unique "Rep ID" into the Grower level "Information" box within the Main tab Profile tree.
