FieldAlytics v6.7 Release Notes- 9/20/23

The FieldAlytics Team is proud to introduce the following new features and performance improvements as part of version 6.7 of FieldAlytics, available Wednesday, September 20th. Click on the links below for each topic of the release notes summary to learn more about these items.

Work Orders

Mapping Work Orders

The Work Orders tab has received an all new job type called Mapping Work Orders. The Mapping Work Order type allows users to create jobs for fields that need new/ updated Field Boundaries and Field Attributes. Fields without current boundaries are able to be selected for Mapping Work Orders by dropping a pin as a geographic area of reference.

Soil Book Work Order Enhancements

The Soil Book Order type has received numerous enhancements and quality of life updates in v6.7. These new updates include:

• Yield Goal
  • Set bu/ac as default unit
• Elements and Products
  • Default Elements will automatically be populated
  • Min/Max/ Switch Rates are populated from User Preferences
  • Removed the Requirement for Min/ Max/ Switch Rates
• Removed requirement for Controller Type
• The 4-Panel Elemental Field Maps are now available within the Addition Report Options
• CCE Element has been updated to Lime on the product page to reflect Fertility

Fertility

Fertility Zones

Fertility Zones are a brand new feature that improve upon the Use Zone Input function while creating a Rx. These new zones are created by associating Equation Variables to Management Zone columns to expedite the Rx Creation process.

Equation Input Override

A new function in the Fertility tab allows users to override the Yield Goal Equation Variable with Yield Layers or Yield Potential to create a variable rate Rx. This function is only available for equations with an override denotation within the script. Please contact a member of the Customer Success Team to modify any equations to accommodate, this new feature.

Administration

Updated Email and Text Alerts

Email and Text alerts has a new interface named Admin Alerts. This new Admin Alerts is a streamlined tool to setup alerts that allows a true SMS Text Alert. Any previous text alerts may now be updated to only a phone number.

Main

Assigned Crops Selection Tool

An update to the Assigned Crops Map Layer allows users to select fields while the Layer is active. Selecting fields will display the Acre Total of the selected fields in the Assigned Crop Legend

Tools

Product Management Seeds

The Product Management tool has been updated to now include Seeds. Users will now be able to edit each seed profile to include 3rd Party ID numbers, Seed Density, Unit Count, and Retail Price. Seed Varieties may also be designated as inactive to remove them from search features within FieldAlytics.
