Admin Alerts

Admin Alerts can be added by users with access to the Administration tools for any email address(es) or phone number that can receive SMS messages. These alerts can be setup for Lab Check In Reports, Work Order Updates/Alerts, Lab Data Upload Notifications, and/or Kahler Alerts by location to automatically send an alert to an email address. Users also have the ability to select which work order status changes they would like to get notified for. See steps below to set up an address for Admin Alerts.


Accessing the Tool

  1. Click the menu icon in the upper-most right-hand corner of the screen and select the "Administration" option.
  2. The system opens the "Administration" window. Select Tool: "Admin Alerts"
  3. The system opens Email Alerts tool. Follow sub-sections below for specific help options

Creating New Alerts

  1. Select a Location, from the "Location" drop-down menu. This will apply these notification settings to the entire location.
  2. The current Email Alerts and SMS Alerts for the selected location will then be displayed.
    1. To Edit current Alerts click on the pencil icon to the right of the alert recipient.
    2. To Delete an Alert, click on the red X to the right of the alert recipient.
  3. Click Create next to either Email Alerts or SMS Alerts to add a new Alert recipient.
  4. Within the Contacts: box, type the Email or Phone number to assign the alerts to, multiple contacts may be added at once.
  5. Next select the types of alerts desired
    1. Lab Check-In Reports
    2. Work Order Updates/ Alerts- Selecting All Work Order Updates/Alerts in the options (see above), will notify users of any work order status change. To be notified of specific status changes, instead use the additional section to individually select each alert. This section allows for complete customization by work order type and status change.
    3. Logged Data Upload Alerts
    4. Lab Data Upload Notifications
    5. Kahler Alerts- Errors/ Alerts
  6. Click Submit to save the Alerts.
