Field Sample Layer ID Search

All Field Sample Layers have a unique ID. These IDs appear on Lab-Check In sheets as well as the Field Sample Summary, and can be used in conjunction with Field Sample Layer ID Search Tool to find the specific field and layer involved. This tool is only available to account Administrators.

Accessing Sample Layer ID Search Tool

  1. Click the three lines in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, and select the "Administration" option.
  2. The system opens the "Administration" window. Select Tool: "Field Sample Layer ID Search"

Using Sample Layer Search Tool

  1. Input a Layer ID and click "Search"
  2. The system displays the profile location for the field sample layer.

Please Note: Field Sample Layer IDs may be found in the Main tab, under a field level- on the field sample layer. They display on the right-hand side gray panel. See image below.

Additionally, it is worth noting that if a user merges or profile moves profiles containing field sample layers, the new layer will receive a new unique field sample Layer ID.
