CDMS Seed Lookup

The Tool: CDMS Seed Lookup provides a fast way to search for specific plant varieties in the extensive variety list from CDMS by commodity, manufacturer and variety. The tool can be accessed by selecting the main menu in the top right of the window, then Tools, then CDMS Seed Lookup.

Using the Tool

After selecting from the Tools menu, all inputs are blank. Each field is a search/select box, allowing you to expand the list to fine the required input, or simply type the desired commodity/manufacturer/variety name, then select from the filtered list. Once a specific variety is found:

An information icon "i" appears to the right of the variety name. Selecting this will provide more details:

While this is a stand-alone tool, it is also integrated into many areas of the software, such as within the As-Planted data calibration window, and selecting seeds for use in a Delivery Ticket.
