As-Planted Data Calibration

The As-Planted Calibrate Values tool will allow for an as-planted data set to be altered. See help below for accessing Calibrate Values and for tips and what to expect from the tool.

Accessing As-Planted Calibrate Values

  1. Click on any As-Planted data set within the Main tab. See example image on right. 
  2. The system loads the coverage data for the layer within the map screen.
  3. Go to the "Action" drop-down menu appearing towards the top of the right side gray panel. See second image on right.
  4. Select "Calibrate Values", from Action drop-down menu then click "Go". 
  5. The system opens Calibrate Values tool, see below. 



Calibrate Values Tips and What to Expect
 

  • Display Panel: The left portion of Calibrate Values displays whatever data set selected within the corresponding drop-down menu. 
  • Deleting A Product: After selecting a product from the "Select Product" menu, click the red x icon that displays next to the drop down menu to delete that product from the data set.
  • Calibration Form: The right portion of the Calibrate Values tool contains all the editable inputs for the data set.
  • Data Segments: The controller records data in segments, and calibrate values displays those data segments (however many or few there happen to be) within the segments area.
  • Reset Calibration Values Button: Clicking the Reset Calibration Values button causes all changes made within Calibrate Values Tool to be discarded in favor of the original ingested version. Please Note: Deleted data can not be recovered via the Reset Calibration Values Button.
  • Commodity Selection: When clicking on the field adjacent to "Seed Name", the CDMS Crop Picker will pop up allowing users to specify Commodity, Manufacturer and Variety

When making edits within Calibrate Values Tool, edit the desired input field, then click the corresponding "update" text link to cause the edit to take hold.
