The Link software provides a secure connection for the transferal of yield, as-applied, and as-planted controller data


Link Login Screen 

Below, is the Link login screen. This uses the same login user name and password as FieldAlytics Web/Mobile.
The earth icon [1] when colorized as it appears in images here, indicates that the Link software has proper internet connectivity.
Clicking  the home icon [2] will take Link to the Home screen (Uploads to Server/ Downloads from Server screen)
Input User name and password,  [3] then select the "Save" button [4].

Please Note: The Back button [5] can be used to return to the Settings screen without making changes.


FieldAlytics Link:Settings Screen

 After logging in, the Link screen opens the "Settings" menu, see below image.

Selecting Login [6] will allow for a new username to be logged in, see proceeding section.
Please Note: Users will only be able to upload data to profiles that the corresponding username has profile access to. If there are duplicate boundary areas that the username has access to, a copy of the uploaded data will be uploaded to each boundary.
Selecting the Controller Type [7] button allows for the specific controller type that the data came from to be selected. Select Controller Type button. 
Please Note: Corresponding Controller types must be selected for the Link to properly upload the data.

Back and Home buttons [8] on this screen will both take you to the home screen of Link.


Uploading with Link Software

  1. After logging into the Link software, navigate to the "FieldAlytics:Settings" view, by selecting the Home, then Settings button if necessary, then select the Controller Type button.
  2. The link Controller Type selection window is opened. Select the needed controller type that corresponds with the data to be uploaded, use the up and down arrows to view the desired controller, then tap/click "Save" which returns you to the Setting screen.Tap the "Back" button or Home icon in the Settings window to return to the home screen.
  3. From this home screen, select "Upload to Server".
  4. Link opens a "Browse For Folder" exploratory window. Use this window to navigate to the data to be uploaded, then select that data.
    Please note: For all controller types, data folders and sub-folders must be unzipped. For all controller types except CASE IH, select any folder that has the data inside it. For CASE IH data, select the folder above the folder that contains the .CN1/CNH folder(s).
  5. Once the proper folder is selected [9] select "OK" [10]  in the "Browse For Folder" window
  6. All files to be uploaded will be listed in the FieldAlytics Link:Uploads window, to initiate the upload process, select "Upload" [11].
  7. The Link software displays a progress window for the upload. Once all files have been uploaded, the Link shows "Upload Complete" or fail message. Select "OK".
  8.  Repeat steps 2-7 until all data is uploaded.

What to Expect from the Data Upload Process

Full ingestion of logged data is not immediate upon completion within Link software.
At the time of upload an email will generate and send to the user account logged into the Link software. This email contains a link to the Logged Data Uploads tool which can be used to view the status of processing.
When processing is complete, another email will generate to list the files that have processed successfully, as well as any that may have failed with the reason for failure.
