FieldAlytics v8.9 Release

The FieldAlytics Team is proud to introduce the following new features and performance improvements as part of version 8.9 of FieldAlytics, available Thursday, January 22nd . Click on the links below for each topic of the release notes summary to learn more about these items.


Lab Check-In Sheet - New Batch Reporting Features

To assist users in enabling quick access to needed paperwork and information sheets, users can now optionally obtain their Lab Check-In forms at the time they create and setup their Soil Sampling Work Orders and/or when they assemble as series a soil sampling jobs via the Dispatch module. These quick access features will ensure access to and generation of the Lab Check-In sheets is easy and readily available prior to going out to field!


Soil Sensor Display Updates


Clients will now find new display overlay features to assist in the viewing of soil test result values as they pertain to the Soil Sensor data type layer. This new overlay will help provide the user the exact analysis result and unit of measure for each data cell across the field based on the users cursor selection. This makes understanding of distinct areas and values easy as comparison to just utilizing the assigned color scale shade.


Fertilizer Rx - New Background Imagery Functions


New map display options will now be available to users when viewing and printing their Fertilizer Rx reports, both within the setup configuration found throughout the Fertility Module and within the Rx setup process found in the Master Soil Book creation. Users will have display options within their PDF report for the traditional background imagery plus roads, roads-only and no background layers at all. This will help for visual needs for some clients and with printing assistance is certain scenarios.


Seed Rx - Custom Color Scale per Commodity


Found within the updated Custom Color Scale tool, users will now have the unique ability to set and configure distinct color scale scenarios per crop/commodity. This will provide the options to configure the needed rate ranges, intervals and colors per each thus enabling maps and reports to visually show the rate values/data in an organized way to each crops unique output requirement and ranges.


Improved Adapt-N Raster Accuracy


We’ve made enhancements to the Adapt-N raster workflow in FieldAlytics to provide more accurate nitrogen totals and smoother in-season updates. Manure nitrogen is now included in Total N Applied, giving you a more complete accounting of applied nitrogen when manure is used in the Usage Efficiency Report.
We’ve also improved raster management for in-season updates. Adapt-N recommendations that have already triggered rasters for a given day can now be updated by requesting a new recommendation from Adapt-N. Once the updated recommendation is converted to a raster, it is saved in the main tree, while the following day’s recommendation is downloaded as a new recommendation—making it easy to track how recommendations and applied nitrogen evolve over time.
These updates help ensure your nitrogen insights stay current, accurate, and easier to manage throughout the season.

  • We have teamed up with Optimal Ag to promote two new grower tools within FieldAlytics! These two new tools have redirects to Optimal Ag's Yield Optimizer and Yield Guarantee tools.
  • Yield Optimizer™ is a data-driven tool that uses real, field-validated trial data to generate location-specific seed recommendations, helping agribusinesses and farmers make smarter decisions and boost yield performance.
  • Performance Guarantee protects growers’ investment in crop inputs. If the agribusiness-designed crop input program doesn’t deliver the expected bushels, growers receive a cash payment to cover the shortfall, measured in-season on actual acres.

Operations Module


With the dawn of a new year, we have officially sunset the legacy Operations module in FieldAlytics. It is succeeded by a completely redesigned Operations module — built to make dispatching and managing Work Orders easier, faster, and more interactive.

Never used Operations before?

  • Operations is a module in which users can view Work Order job pins spatially, group them efficiently, and assign them to machines or personnel for completion.
  • Instead of working from long lists, visualize work from an interactive map, quickly filter and group similar activities, and build dispatches with just a few clicks.
