Optimal Ag Tools

Overview

FieldAlytics provides access to two grower tools powered by Optimal Ag:

• Yield Optimizer
• Yield Guarantee

These tools are available within FieldAlytics under Grower Tools, but all functionality is hosted and managed by Optimal Ag. FieldAlytics serves only as an access point and does not store or process data used within these tools.

Where to Find the Tools

1. Navigate to Grower Tools in FieldAlytics.

   Select either:

   • Yield Optimizer, or
   • Yield Guarantee
2. You will be redirected to the Optimal Ag platform to use the selected tool.

If the tools are not visible, access has not been enabled for your organization (see Permissions below).

Permissions Required (VAR Permission)

Access to both tools is controlled by a single VAR-level permission for Optimal Ag.

• If the Optimal Ag VAR permission is enabled, both Yield Optimizer and Yield Guarantee will appear under Grower Tools.
• If the permission is not enabled, neither tool will be visible.

To request access, contact your system administrator or customer support.

Tool Descriptions

Yield Optimizer

Yield Optimizer is an interactive decision-support tool designed to help growers model different management scenarios and understand how those decisions may impact yield outcomes.

Key details:

• Requires the grower to log in to Optimal Ag to use the tool
• Supports scenario modeling and planning
• Intended for both pre-season planning and in-season decision making

Because this tool is fully hosted by Optimal Ag, all inputs, results, and recommendations are managed within their system.

Yield Guarantee

Yield Guarantee provides access to yield guarantee programs and tools that help evaluate seed or hybrid options and support participation in guarantee-based offerings.

Key details:

• Does not require grower login to view basic program information
• Focused on program participation, eligibility, and yield assurance
• Not intended for scenario modeling

Participation details, coverage terms, and outcomes are managed entirely by Optimal Ag.

Data and Support Responsibilities

Because both tools are hosted by Optimal Ag:

• FieldAlytics does not store, calculate, or validate data used in these tools
• All modeling, guarantees, and program logic are owned by Optimal Ag
• Issues related to tool functionality, calculations, or program rules should be directed to Optimal Ag support

FieldAlytics support can assist with:

• Enabling the VAR permission
• Verifying visibility of the tools under Grower Tools
• Confirming redirect behavior

Why am I being redirected out of FieldAlytics?

Why can I see Yield Guarantee but not use Yield Optimizer?

Yield Optimizer requires a grower login to Optimal Ag. If you are not logged in, you may be prompted to create or sign into an account.

Can I manage or configure these tools inside FieldAlytics?

No. FieldAlytics only provides access. All configuration and usage happens within Optimal Ag.
