FieldAlytics v8.8 Release

The FieldAlytics Team is proud to introduce the following new features and performance improvements as part of version 8.8 of FieldAlytics, available Friday, October 16th . Click on the links below for each topic of the release notes summary to learn more about these items.

Adapt N NUE Report

A new Usage Efficiency layer is now available in the Main tree for fields with Adapt-N data and yield maps. This layer calculates nitrogen use efficiency (N applied ÷ yield) for every raster cell, helping visualize where nitrogen was used most effectively. Users can view Total N Applied, Yield, and Efficiency directly on the map and generate a printable report containing all three maps and a summary table.

Custom Color Scale UI Updates

Functional interaction with the Custom Color Tool has been improved to provide a better experience while defining new color palettes and assigning them to profile datasets. This update also provides greater visibility into current palette assignment across profiles, giving users a convenient way to determine which datasets a palette has been assigned to.

Crop Description by Profile

You can now customize crop description colors by Business Unit or Location profile. This update allows organizations to differentiate crop colors across profiles — making it easier to visually distinguish fields on the map based on local preferences or internal standards.

For example, a Business Unit can use one color for Pasture Grasses, while a specific location within that unit can choose another. Each profile will only see the descriptions assigned to them.
