FieldAlytics v8.5 Release - 7/2/25

The FieldAlytics Team is proud to introduce the following new features and performance improvements as part of version 8.5 of FieldAlytics, available Wednesday, July 2nd. Click on the links below for each topic of the release notes summary to learn more about these items.

We’ve expanded the capabilities of the Multi-Layer Viewing tool in Field Alytics with the addition of two new data layers:

  • Field Sample Element Viewing – Visualize elemental sample results directly on your maps to support soil fertility and precision management decisions.
  • NDVI Imagery Viewing – View normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) imagery to quickly assess crop health across fields during the growing season.
These updates allow you to compare more data sources side by side and gain deeper agronomic insights, all within a single interactive tool.

Raster Creation of the Adapt-N Layer

Creating and saving a fertility recommendation in the Fertility tab will store the Adapt-N recommendation in your field tree. Alternatively, you can save a snapshot of the daily recommendation by triggering rasterization of the current Adapt-N layer. Note that rasterization can only be performed once per day.

If any configuration or recommendation changes are made after rasterization has occurred, the tool will not be available again until the following day.

Job Filter - Assigned Lab

To greater expand the search and limiting functions around open Work Order Jobs, and additional filter for assigned Lab has been added to the system functions.

This new update allow the user to easily find and limit their Soil Sampling Job orders not only by traditional measures such as sampling method, client or status, but then also by its intended end analysis destination, which is pivotal for groups working with more than one primary lab.

Saved Rx - Create Bulk WO Management

Users working in the Saved Rx Mgmt tool will now have the added convenience of bulk creating their Work Order jobs directly from the management tool. This time saving feature will enable the users to search and find their desired Saved Rx events via the existing filters and then select those events to promote these to the next step of a Fertilizer Work Order.

Using the existing filter and display tools, users can identify the Saved Rx events needed to promote and then begin the Work Order creation process directly within this tool.
