FieldAlytics v7.8 Release Notes- 9/12/24

The FieldAlytics Team is proud to introduce the following new features and performance improvements as part of version 7.8 of FieldAlytics, available Thursday, September 12th. Click on the links below for each topic of the release notes summary to learn more about these items.

Main

Sample Management

The Sample Management Tool enhances data organization by allowing users to view all previous sample templates for each field. Users can effortlessly print labels and create new work orders directly from the tool, streamlining workflow processes. Additionally, the tool offers the capability to request an Rx from selected samples or schedule an Rx to automatically execute when new sample data is entered into the system, ensuring timely and efficient data processing.

Boundary Management

Boundary Management provides users with the ability to lock field boundaries, safeguarding them from unintended edits. Furthermore, users can designate fields as High Precision boundaries through this tool, which are identified by a satellite icon in the profile tree.

Fertility

Equation Input Override

The Equation Input Override feature introduces Normalized Yield as an additional input alongside Yield and Yield Potential for Fertility analyses. This addition provides a more comprehensive yield equation input override, improving decision-making accuracy.

Integrations

Samsara Integration

Samsara Integration enables seamless linking of assets within FieldAlytics to the Samsara platform. This integration allows linked assets to benefit from Samsara’s robust asset tracking capabilities directly within FieldAlytics. As a result, users can monitor and manage their assets more effectively, leveraging up to date tracking data to optimize operational efficiency and asset utilization.

Operations

Assigned Crops

Assigned crops can now be viewed through a dedicated map layer in the Operations module. This update reflects the latest map changes during Work Order creation, enabling dispatchers to more efficiently assign dispatches by visualizing similar crops on the map.

Enhancements

• Expanded FieldWatch map layer functionality

Attention

Starting January 31, 2025, we will deprecate the Legacy FieldAlytics API, marking it as "unsupported." While it will remain active and up-to-date, no further development or enhancements will be made. Our new FieldAlytics Enhance API, which offers feature parity and improved documentation, will replace the Legacy API. The Legacy API will be available until January 2026. Please contact a member of our Customer Success Team with any questions relating to the Legacy API or getting started with the FieldAlytics Enhance API.
