Boundary Management

Admin users can leverage the Boundary Management tool to lock field boundaries with FieldAlytics. This functionality is available from the Grower and Farm profile levels. Locking these field boundaries will prevent other users from modifying the boundary geometry, deleting polygons, etc.

Accessing Boundary Management

1. Navigate to a Grower or Farm profile level
2. Click the "Tools" dropdown locked just below the "Reports" button
3. Select "Boundary Mgmt" from the list of available tools
4. The modal will list all of the fields and display
   1. Checkboxes at the far left of each row
   2. Farm name
   3. Field name
   4. Boundary Lock indication
   5. Menu icon
5. Use the checkbox on the left hand side of the field row to select fields you intend to change
   1. This box must be checked in order to save changes
6. Use the Boundary Lock checkbox to lock or unlock the boundary of the field
7. Use the Menu icon to access the "Lock All Selected" and "Unlock All Selected"
   1. With fields selected using the checkbox to the far left of each row, these two options can be used to apply the lock or unlock in mass
8. Use the "Save" button in the bottom right of the modal to save any changes
   1. Use the "Close" button to close the modal when you are finished making changes
