FieldAlytics Enable- User Setup
Setting up a user for FieldAlytics Enable requires a few initial steps from an administrator. The first of these steps will be covered in this document, with the rest in separate articles. Before any of these steps can be completed, please contact a member of our Customer Success team to activate FieldAlytics Enable for your organization. Requirements include setting the correct User Type, Advanced Permissions, defining fiscal year, and assigning growers.
Fiscal Year Setup

Next, select a location and enter the Month and Day to start the Fiscal Year. Click Save to finish. Fiscal year must be set up by individual location.
User Admin
Once the Fiscal Year has been defined, users may now be allowed access to FieldAlytics Enable within User Admin. Access the User Admin tool from the drop-down menu within Administration.
From here, select a user from the user list on the left hand side. Once a user is selected, the User Type must be set to one of the following: Salesperson, Consultant, Precision Ag Specialist, or Advisor.

Next, click on Advanced Permissions. From here, check the box next to FieldAlytics Engage, then Save Changes. The user will now have access to FieldAlytics Engage, but will require extra setup to fully utilize the application.

- Click the + (plus) button to add a product.

Example:
- Total Chemical goal: $44,000
- Individual product goals total: $20,000
- General displays: $24,000
Totals automatically roll up to the category and user level.

Quantity mode allows goals to be set using product-specific units instead of dollars.
To use Quantity mode:
- Toggle from $ to Quantity.
- Select the appropriate Unit of Measure (UOM) from the dropdown for the category.
- Enter goal quantities at the sub-category level or expand to assign quantities to individual products.
Unit of Measure Standards
Quantity goals use Transfer Unit UOMs specific to each product type:
- Chemicals
- Fertilizer
- Seed – Seed Units
- Service – Acres
- Miscellaneous – Each
Each category provides a dropdown to select from available transfer units.
Quantity Rollup Behavior
- If quantities are entered at the product level, the system automatically sums them.
- Product quantities roll up to the sub-category total.
- Sub-category totals roll up to the category and user total.
The General line will reflect any remaining quantity not assigned to specific products.
Switching Between Dollar and Quantity
- Users can toggle between Dollar ($) and Quantity modes.
- Entered values remain sticky when switching modes (data will not be lost unless Cancel is selected).
-
Toggling between modes will prompt the user to Save changes.
Only one input type is required:
- Either Dollar or Quantity must be entered to save.
- Both fields do not need to be completed.
Data persists in the same manner as existing dollar-based goals, ensuring backward compatibility.
