Agris Connect Growers
Users setup with a connection to the Agris ERP platform will need to connect growers to their Agris customer in order to submit jobs. Follow the steps below to connect growers to Agris after the locations have been connected.
Connecting Growers to Agris
- From the menu icon in the upper right select "Tools"
- In the Select Tool dropdown, select "Connect 3rd Party ERP" (this selection is near the bottom within the Third Party section
- Choose "AGRIS" from the Select ERP dropdown
- Note that it is required to have locations connected prior to the connection of growers, see related article at the bottom
Once selected, select the Agris deployment and locations that have been setup will populate in the Enrolled Locations section (typically a given company will only have one deployment)
- Note: The "Billable Acres overrides Application Summary Acres on submit to AGRIS" checkbox will send the billable acres for the job when Complete rather than the acre value entered on the application summary
- At this point, we're ready to begin connecting growers. Click the "Connect Growers" button in the lower right of the screen above
- Select the desired location from the dropdown in the top of the modal [1]
- Enter the customer(s) 10 digit Agris ID in the Enter Thirdparty ID input field [2]
Use the Submit button in the lower right to submit the grower connection(s) [3]
- Note: If a large number of growers need to be setup, it is suggested that about 10 new connections be submitted at a time. In cases there are too many, the system may not be able to successfully sync all grower profiles in a single submission.
- Once submitted, a double headed black arrow will populate to the left of the grower name in the Agris ID column, click this to kick off the sync to Agris
- Once clicked, this icon will become an orange syncing icon indicating that the profile is being synced with Agris
- Once this process is complete, the sync icon will become a green checkmark which can be seen in the screenshot above
Reasons for Profile failing to initially sync:
*Farm, Field and Boundaries must be in place within FieldAlytics for the initial connection sync to occur with Agris.
*Agris connection enforces a maximum character length of "50", if the Grower, Farm or Field exceed this limit the sync will fail.
