Mass Update Status

Within Work Orders Mass Update functionality, users now have the ability to not only mass update the work order but also the jobs that lie within the work order. This new functionality will be especially beneficial to those whose workflow is to have multiple jobs under one work order.

To navigate to this new functionality users will need to go to the Work Orders tab and click on on "Mass Update Status" on the right hand panel.

After clicking on "Mass Update Status" users will note that the background of the Work Order screen will be grayed out.

  • By clicking the check arrow next to the Work Order, the multiple jobs within it will drop down.
  • Clicking the check box adjacent to the Work Order will select all included jobs within the work order for mass update.
  • Once expanded a user can select multiple jobs to update.

Once satisfied with the Jobs and/or Work Orders that they would like to update, users can click "Continue Mass Update".

A pop up will appear allowing the user to select between Job Status and Field Status. Select Job Status to simply update the status of the Job. Field Status will only update Soil Sampling Jobs selected. Field Status Options include Ready, Will Call, and Not Ready.

Update" will submit the changes.

Finalized Mass Update

Mass updating Job Statuses to Finalized will require a few additional steps. Once Update is selected with the status update set to Finalized, the Bulk Status Change tool will now populate. If multiple Work Order types are selected to update, users may notice that they are separated into two separate categories, Delivery Ticket Jobs and all other jobs. Click on each job to expand the job details, users may make any necessary edits to the job and add an Invoice number. Toggle the Summary to Yes to include the Work Order PDF.

Delivery Ticket Jobs behave in the same way, but do not have an option to include the Work Order PDF.

Once all edits have been made, select each field by checking the box next to the job, then clicking on either Change & Invoice, or Change to update the status to Finalized.
