Batch Yield Calibration

The Batch Yield Calibration tool is a powerful means of quickly calibrating multiple yield layers within the same Grower or Farm. Expanded functionality of this tool includes event level advanced calibration features. This new functionality will ensure users can easily handle all of their calibration needs from a single tool/page.

Accessing the Tool

In the Main tab, use the profile tree to navigate down to either a Grower or a Farm. The Batch Yield Calibration, once loaded, will pull in all fields under this selection. Once the needed profile has been selected, select "Tools" [1] then "Batch Yield Calibration" [2]

This will then load launch a search query to pull in all available yield data event under the selected Grower or Farm profile and display this within the populated "Batch Yield Calibration" interactive modal.

With the Batch tool now populated, users will see a number of features and functions available to help enable Batch Yield Calibration and editing. Within the Batch utility users can easily filter the display by crop year and commodity. On this page, quick adjustments to Moisture, Weights and Totals can quickly be applied to multiple profiles. See below for a detailed breakdown of features.

Batch Yield Calibration Features Explained

  • Year and Commodity filters allow for display of specific grouped data sets [3]
  • Data selector allows for the quick selection of all datasets with the top Field check-box or any individual dataset by the field name [4]
  • Advanced calibration of the specific event can be reached with the field edit icon [5], for more information on specific event calibration, see Calibrating Yield Data
  • Commodity is displayed and can also be edited [6], Silage can also be indicated when editing commodity.
  • Coverage as a percentage is displayed, this number has a hover over functionality to also display acreage [7]
  • Total and average yield for both wet and dry values can be edited on a per event basis [8]
  • Events can be locked to prevent further editing [9]
  • Total wet or dry values can be added for multiple fields using "Bulk Calibrate" [10]. This will use the totals for all selected fields. This is useful when you may know the total weight of several fields together from scale tickets, but may not know the weight of any individual field.
  • Multiple selected yield layers can be deleted at once [11]
  • Once making changes, the "Submit" button [12] will apply changes or the "Cancel" button will close the window without saving.

Please Note: Once edits have been made, but before being saved, edits can be discarded multiple ways. Using Undo in the top right of this window will discard edits for the single event. The refresh icon at the bottom left will re-load all data and discard all changes. The "Cancel" button will discard all un-saved edits and close the Batch Yield Calibration window.
