Uploading Aerial Imagery
Field Level Add Data Import Option - Aerial Imagery
Geotif format Aerial Imagery files may be uploaded to individual Fields through the Add Data Menu, follow steps and What to Expect sections below.
Uploading Aerial Imagery
- Right Click over the Field Name within the Profile Tree
- From the menu that appears, select "Add Data". See image below.
- "Data Upload" window will open. For Data Type: Select "Aerial Image" Please note: Aerial Imagery files must be in Geotiff format
- Click "Choose File". The system will then open a Windows browser for the computer. Navigate to the aerial imagery file, select it (or a zip file that contains it) and click "Open"
- In the "Supplier" input field, select the imagery supplier. *Please note that the Supplier field is required, and not all suppliers are interchangeable for Aerial Imagery. Only one data export from the Mavrx supplier results in an analyzable data set in FieldAlytics. That export is called Relative Crop Performance.
- Click "Add/Upload" and the system will process and upload the imagery file.

Aerial Imagery Uploads - Tips and What to Expect
- When the system has finished processing, click on the field name within the profile tree to see the newly created "Imagery" folder, with Imagery layers stored underneath it.
- Imagery Data set layers are named by the imagery "Date" input
- When imagery layer is selected, select image type from the right-hand gray side panel, by clicking the radial button to display image
