Farm Plans can be created individually at the field level, or in batches at both the grower and farm levels.
To get started, open the Profile tree to either the grower or farm level.
Go to the right of the map and click on farm planning [1], then select Batch Farm Planning.
The Batch Farm Planning window is defaulted to the Farm Plan Management tab. Click on the Batch Generation tab [2] to begin creating farm plans.
Begin by selecting the desired year from the left drop down list [3]. This will populate all fields from the selected grower/ farm.
There are four filters to the right of crop year, to refine the selected list of fields
ERP Filter: [4] Click to toggle between fields associated with Merchant Ag and fields that are not connected to an ERP
Farm Filter: [5] Click here to type the name of the farm to filter by
Please Note: Farm Filter is only available when Batch Generation is selected from the Grower level
Previous Crop Filter: [6] Click here to select the desired previous crop from the drop down menu
Please Note: The Previous Crop Year filter only filters fields that have a farm plan created for the selected crop in the previous crop year
Filter Selected: [7] Click to toggle between selected and non selected plans
Under Yield Source, click on the drop down menu to change the selected rate map. [8]
The Yield Average column displays the the average yield for the selected yield source, however, the yield can be modified by clicking in the Yield Average box and typing the desired figure. [9]
Next select a Plan Template under the Plan Template column. [10] Both user saved templates as well as State Budget Templates are available in this menu.
Please note: If a plan template is a shared template and/or displays as unresolved, see Sharing Farm Planning Templates in the related article for more help on resolving the template.
Clicking on the menu icon [11] to the right of the Plan Template column gives the options to apply the Plan Template to all fields or apply the Plan Template to selected fields.
To select a field click on the box to the left of the farm name. [12]
To generate plans, click the checkboxes [12] to the left of the field that need to be created, and then click save.
