Soil Comparison
Soil Comparison reports may be ordered on the field level and compare soil sampling nutrient information between date ranges defined. See help sections below to generate a Soil Comparison report, for Report options explained, or for sample report pages. In order for this report to present useful results requires that at least two sample events exist for the field.
Generating Soil Comparison Reports
- Select any Field profile within the Main tab.
- From the right side light gray panel, click the "Reports" dropdown and select "Soil Comparison".
The system opens "Soil Comparison Difference Analysis" menu window (See image below).
- Make desired selections then click "Submit".

Soil Comparison Difference Analysis Options Explained
- Start/End Date Drop-down Menus: The contents of these drop-down menus vary depending on the field sample dates present on the field selected.
- Elements Selection Area: The elements present within the elements selection area vary depending on the recorded nutrients available on the field.
- Select/Unselect All Elements: Clicking the this option either selects or de-selects all element options.
- Overlay Sample Values: Selecting this option causes resulting maps to designate soil sampling point locations. Please Note: If field sample layers have differing number/locations of points from each others, point overlay will only display on the elemental maps, not the difference map, otherwise if number of points and location of the points match, the difference overlay will also be displayed.
- Additional Emails: When email addresses are typed into this input field, a copy of the report is delivered to each email address provided. Please Note: Multiple email addresses should be separated by commas.

Soil Comparison Difference Analysis FAQDoes the Soil Comparison Difference Analysis report take only the two dates of sampling in consideration, or does it also include sampling dates that fall between the two dates? The Soil Comparison Difference Analysis only considers two dates, the start date and the end date. For a report that handles upwards of two sampling dates try the Soil Trend Analysis report.
