Chemical Lookup
The Chemical Lookup tool may be used to download chemical sheets, look up restricted states, see chemical specific details and formulations. All information provided within this tool is provided though FieldAlytics Crop Data Management Systems (C.D.M.S) inside integration. See sections below to access the Chemical Lookup tool, or for tool expected behavior.
Accessing Chemical Lookup Tool/Looking up a Chemical
- Click the menu icon in the upper-most right-hand corner of the screen
- Click "Tools"
- The system opens the "Tools" window. Use drop-down menu to select "Chemical Lookup"
- The system refreshes the Tools window to include a Chemical input field. Begin typing any chemical into the Chemical input field, then select the chemical from the dark gray CDMS list.
- Once a chemical is selected the Detail, Formulation, Availability/Restrictions, Documents, and Check tabs will display. See further help section below for tab functionality.
Chemical Lookup Tool Tabs Explained
- Detail: The Detail tab will list the Product Name. Product Code, EPA number, Manufacturer, Fed UP status, Signal Word, Revised date, Product Types, and MOA list classification.
- Formulation: The Formulation tab lists the common names for chemicals, the percentage of chemical, the chemical state, and the units the chemical is associated with.
- Availability/Restriction: The Availability/Restriction tab will list the states that a chemical is available in, as well as the states and countries a chemical is restricted in .
- Documents: The Documents tab is where chemical sheets may be viewed and/or downloaded. Simply click the "Link" icon near the pdf needed to open the chemical sheet. See image below.
- Check :The Check tab may be used to check the proposed chemical in conjunction with use in a specific area, a specific crop and rate of application. See help subsection below.
Using Chemical Lookup Check
- Input State/Province, County, Crop, and the system will display the acceptable min and max rates associated with the chemical.
- Input a desired rate and rate unit, and then click anywhere within the window and the system will check that specific setup for chemical handling compliance.
