FieldAlytics v7.5 Release Notes- 6/5/24

The FieldAlytics Team is proud to introduce the following new features and performance improvements as part of version 7.5 of FieldAlytics, available Tuesday, June 4th Click on the links below for each topic of the release notes summary to learn more about these items.

Attention

Starting January 31, 2025, we will deprecate the Legacy FieldAlytics API, marking it as "unsupported." While it will remain active and up-to-date, no further development or enhancements will be made. Our new FieldAlytics Enhance API, which offers feature parity and improved documentation, will replace the Legacy API. The Legacy API will be available until January 2026. Please contact a member of our Customer Success Team with any questions relating to the Legacy API or getting started with the FieldAlytics Enhance API.

Work Orders


Mass Update Status- Finalized

The Mass Update Status tool within the Work Order tab, now allows users to mass update to the Finalized Status. Changing multiple statuses to Finalized will bring users to an all new tool that will allow them to make any edits to each of the jobs, as well as, add an invoice number, and any required asset information before changing the statuses.

Merchant Batches

A new setting within the 3rd Party ERP tool allows users connected with Merchant Ag to submit Work Orders with multiple jobs as a batch with the same Merchant ID.

Location Preferences


Fertility Tab

The interface for the Fertility Tab in Location Preferences has a new look. Each category (Global Defaults, Element Defaults and Crop Defaults) has been relocated to an expandable section to allows to more easily work within the long list of Fertility Defaults. In addition, the following changes have been made to the following categories:

  • Global Defaults
    • Yes/No toggles have been added to replace check boxes
    • A tooltip has been added to each preference to display a brief description of each preference
  • Element Defaults
    • Now consists of a table that displays all available elements with set defaults.
    • Editing the defaults to an element is now located within a separate window after clicking on the edit button next to an element.

Crop Defaults

The new Crop Defaults section located within the Fertility Tab of Location Preferences allows users to set default values for crops used in a Seeding Analysis. Users may set defaults to Product, Min Rate, Max Rate, Switch rate, Price, and Seeds per Bag for all available crops.

Miscellaneous


As-Applied/ As-Planted Rasters

All as applied and as planted maps have a new look with updated rasters including a more in depth histogram. Additionally, the tool bar on the right hand side of the map has been reworked to be in line visually with other tools within the Main tab.


Enhancements


  • Added Product Group number to Work Order PDF if Product Groups are selected
  • The Blended attribute now correctly displays True/ False for Work Orders created in FieldAlytics Moblie
  • The Merchant Ag Asset Linker has been renamed to 3rdParty Asset Linking
