Creating Mobile Application Work Orders


To begin, navigate to the Work Orders tab and tap on the + in the upper right corner of the screen.

Next select the Work Order type and the desired Customer. If the Customer is connected to an ERP an additional Send to ERP will appear. Now tap add Job to begin adding fields.

Adding Fields

  1. Both Fields and Season Zones may be added to Work Orders in FieldAlytics Mobile.

    1. If adding whole fields to the job, simply tap Add Fields and continue to step 2 below.
    2. If a Season Zone is required for the job, start by toggling Season Zones on, then selecting the year the desired season zone(s) are present.

  2. Users may add fields and season zones to the job from the List View or from the Map View.

List View has the Growers farms organized in lists by farm, tap on the farm name to expand the list to individually select fields. User may also tap on Select All to select the entire farm.

Toggling to the Map View will allow users to navigate the map to find the desired fields. To select a field from the map view simply tap on the field and then the Select button.

Once all necessary fields have been selected, tap Add in the upper right corner of the screen to review Sensitive Crops

Each field must be reviewed for Sensitive Crop information, to do so, tap Review in the bottom right corner of the field box.

Now select "Yes, Sensitive crops are adjacent to the field being applied." or "No. Sensitive crops are not adjacent to the field being applied." Tap Certify once a selection is made.

Tap Next in the bottom right corner of the screen when all fields have been reviewed for Sensitive crops.

ERP Options

The ERP Options page is only available for Work Orders being created for an ERP connected grower. To continue with the Work Order, users must select an Inventory Site for product availability and choose a Customer Address for billing purposes. A Billable Service may also be selected, but is not required to continue. Tap Next once all ERP options have been selected.

Application Products

All categories within the Application Products are the same for Chemical Application and Fertilizer Application Work Orders, however the order of the Chemical and Fertilizer Products will be different depending on which Work Order type is being created. Below is a description of each item within the Application Product page.

  • Crop- Selecting a Crop is required to continue with the Work Order. If a Crop Area is present for the fields selected for the job, the Crop category will automatically be populated.
  • Target Rate- Users may enter a value manually or calculate the value once products have been selected. To calculate the Target rate, tap on the ... in the top right corner of the screen and selecting Calculate Target Rate.

    Include WPS Documentation- toggle on to include the documentation in the Work Order

    Include DOT Documentation- toggle on to include the documentation in the Work Order

    Add Chemical- Tap here to go to the Add Chemical page

    • Start by tapping on the Chemical box to search for the desired Chemical
    • Next, a Rate and Unit must be assigned to the Chemical these are both required.
    • Target Pests- tap here to search for any target pests that may need identified in the Work Order. Multiple Target Pests may be selected at once, tap Done in the top right corner to add the selected pests to the job. This category may be required depending on the organizations preferences.
    • Blended- toggle this on to signify if the Chemical will be blended
    • CDMS Check- this will display if the rate for the selected chemical is compliant.
    • REI: Stands for Restricted Entry Interval, and describes the number of days between application and the day the field may be re-entered physicality. If utilizing CDMS check and the corresponding value is known by CDMS, this will populate automatically.
    • PHI: Stands for Pre-Harvest Interval, and describes the number of days between application and the day the field may be harvested. If utilizing CDMS check and the corresponding value is known by CDMS, the value will populate automatically.
    • View Inventory Levels- Only available for ERP connected growers. Tapping here will give a brief summary with the current inventory level and price of the product

      Add Fertilizer- Tap here to go to the Add Fertilizer page.

    • Fertilizer- Tapping here will populate a selectable list of all available fertilizers. ERP connected jobs will display the available Fertilizers for the selected Inventory Site.
    • A Rate and Unit must be assigned the Fertilizer, these are both required
    • Is Carrier- toggle to signify if the Fertilizer is a carrier. If building a Chemical Application Work Order, a Fertilizer is required to be set as a carrier.
    • Is Blended- toggle this on to signify if the Fertilizer will be blended
  • Blend Analysis- this box will display an elemental analysis of the total blend.

Once all products have been added to the Job, tap Next to continue

Options/ Misc.

All inputs within this page are optional

Window Start/ End Date- tap here to enter the parameters of when the job needs to be completed

Application Timing- Select the type of application between Pre Planting, In Season, and Pass.

Is Liquid Blend- toggle this on if the products will be a liquid blend

Notes- tap here to add any addition notes. Any notes added will appear within Job Details and Work Order pdf reports.

Additional Emails- tap here to enter any additional emails

Once all necessary information has been added to the Options/ Misc. page, tap Save in the bottom right corner to finish creating the Job.
