Planet Labs Integration (Leaf Imagery Enrollment)

The Leaf Imagery Enrollment tool is a portal that allows users to connect to Planet Labs services and enroll fields. Leaf Imagery Enrollment may need to be activated for your organization, please contact our Customer Success Team for pricing and activation.

To access the tool, start by clicking on the menu icon in the upper right corner of the screen and selecting Administration.

Next select Leaf Imagery Enrollment from the drop-down Menu. Any fields that are already enrolled will appear in the top half of the right side of the window with the date of enrollment. (If a field appears here that shouldn't or no longer needs enrolled, check the box next to the field and click Disenroll Selected.) From here navigate the profile tree on the left side of the window to find the desired fields to enroll, users may also use the grower search to automatically open the profile tree to the grower level. Fields may be selected individually or by entire farms by checking the box next to the Farm name. Selected fields will appear to the right. To finish the enrollment process, check the boxes next to the new fields to the right and click Submit.

Once a field has been enrolled, it may take a few minutes to retrieve the imagery. A newly enrolled field will gather imagery to January of the previous year. To view Planet Labs imagery, navigate to a field that has been enrolled and open an imagery folder. Imagery from Planet Labs will be denoted with the icon shown in the image below.

A selected image may have multiple options to the right of the map to display including NIR, NDVI and/or NDVIRE with the option to download each.
