Creating Attributes on Mobile

Point and Line Attributes can both now be created within FieldAlytics Mobile. These attributes can only be created at the field level. To create an attribute, navigate to the desired filed in the Profiles tab and tap on the Map icon in the ribbon at the top of the page. Next tap on the ... menu in the upper right corner and select Add Attribute. A ribbon will appear at the bottom of the page, tap on New Attribute.

Now the Attribute must be named, and a type selected (Point or Line). If a Point Attribute is selected, users will also need to select an Attribute Sub Type. Click done. The application will ask to Manually Draw or Record with GPS. To Manually Draw an Attribute, Simply tap and hold to add a point to the map. A point attribute can only have one point per attribute and a line must have at least two points. Tap Done to save the newly created Attribute.

Attributes may be viewed in the map view of the profile tab, as well as, in the map view of dispatches.
