Yield by Soil Test

The Yield by Soil Test report is designed to show users better insights on yield variability as it relates to field sample testing.


Generating the Report

The report can be generated at the Grower, Farm or Field level by navigating to the right pane within Fieldalytics and clicking on "Reports". A dropdown will appear where you can scroll down to find the "Yield by Soil Test" option.

Once clicked, a pop up will appear presenting the report options:

  • Year: Allows the user to select the year they want to run the report for
  • Elements: Here users can define what elements they want to examine for yield comparison
  • Create a CSV Creates a CSV style report rather than a PDF
  • Additional Email: Enter another email here to send an additional copy to someone


Report Summary

Farm Summary

The first page(s) of the report will be the Farm Summary. It displays the elemental data ranges and divides them into zones, the report displays the avg. yield within those zones. As specified in the pop up for report generation, custom ranges and breakpoints can be defined by using the custom color tool located in the Tools area of Fieldalytics.

Field Level Detail (Elemental Maps)

The second area of the report displays the data in a visual manner by presenting the user with elemental maps displaying value ranges and the average yield presented in a table on the right side.
