Farm Plan Editor


  • Plan Name: [1] Displays the name of the Farm Plan. Click in the text box to rename the plan
  • Revenue Display: [2] Displays the total field revenue generated by yield, Other Revenue, and Total Revenue for the field.
  • Expense Display: Displays all expenses for the Farm Plan
    • [3] this column shows expenses associated with planned events 
    • [4] this column can be used to enter additional costs per category in $/ac
    • [5] this column displays the sum of each category
  • Summary: [6] Shows net profit/loss for the entire field
  • Yield: [7] Displays the name of the rate map selected. To change the rate map click on the name and select the desired rate map from the drop down list. If there is no rate map selected for the plan, it will read Select a Rate Map.
  • Commodity Price: [8] Click here to change the commodity price
  • Crop Unit: [9] Click here to change the Commodity Price unit options include:
    • $/bu
    • $/lbs
    • $/cwt
  • Other Revenue: [10] Click here to add Other Revenue per acre to the Farm Plan
  • Yield Scaling: [11] Click and drag the slider bar to adjust the applied yield or click in the text box [12] to type a specific percentage
  • Selected Yes/No: [13] Click on this to toggle between planned budget and selected budget for the year
  • Change Template: [14] Brings a drop down menu to select a budget template
  • Parts of an Event: Click on the event to show more information about the event      
    • Event Date: [15] Hovering over this box brings up a calendar to change the date of the event (See image right)
    • [16] Displays the event type
    • Event Name: [17] Click here to change the name of the event
    • [18] Click here to change the individual costs of the event
    • [19] Displays the total field cost of the event
    • The three dots [20] in the lower left corner of the event will pull up a selection menu to either save the event as a template or delete the event
  • The green plus icon [21] near the bottom of the window pulls up a menu with the options to add an event or to add an event template. The different types of events are: 
    • Chemical
    • Fertilizer
    • Harvest
    • Irrigation
    • Misc. Expense
    • Planting
    • Sample
    • Scout
    • Tillage
  • Save Planned Budget as Template: [22] Click here to save the current budget as a template for future use. This will bring up a new window with options to save the template.
    • Rename the template by clicking in the text box next to Template Name [23]
    • Change the year of the template by clicking in the text box next to Template Year [24]
    • Templates can be assigned to specific locations by checking the box to the left of the location name [25]
    • Click Confirm to save
  • ERP Connected Customer Farm Planning
    • [26] Now available within the Custom Hire part of templates is "Billable Services". Here customers can choose which billable service(s) they would like apart of the farm plan, which can in the future be made into a Work Order. 
      • Note: This is only available to ERP Connected Customers.
