Creating Records Events

There are 4 ways to create new Records events within the Records tab: "Create new record" button, "Create from work order job" button, "Create from logged data" button, or by clicking anywhere on the white space of desired Record Date. See below for more help:

Create New Record Button:

  • Clicking on this button allows the creation of a New Record event of any type, for any date with the profiles currently selected and today's date appearing by default (see image above)
  • Hovering over the "Profiles" input field (circled in red) displays all fields selected in a small white pop-up.
  • The "Area" and "Total Cost" output fields are system calculated values, that will update upon save.
  • Clicking Show Map button opens a map screen displaying all selected fields.
  • Input any desired comments into the "Comments" input field.

Create From Work Order Job Button:

1. Clicking on this button will open a "Create Record from Work Order Job" utility window (See image above)
2. From here, Work Order entries can be filtered further by inputting Filter Dates, and/or Filter by status drop-down menu.

3. Click "Use Current Filters" to have new filter options used on Work Order list

4. Click "Include Archived" to have archived Work Orders appear in the list as well.

5. Clicking the blue i will bring up a "Job Details" window for Work Order. (See Image below)

6. Clicking Import causes a new Records Event Form to be opened with all relevant inputs pre-populated from details recorded within the work order. (See Image below)
7. Review form, and make any changes needed. When finished Click "Save" in the lower left-hand corner of the form window.
8. A new Records event entry will be added to the relevant event date.

Create From Logged Data Button:

  • Similarly to the steps from "Create from Work Order Job" button, clicking this button opens a window with Logged data entries from the profile selected. (See image below)
  • Further filtering may be accomplished by inputting filtering dates and clicking "Use current filters"
  • Clicking the blue i will bring up a "Job Details" window for Work Order.
  • Clicking Import causes a new Records Event Form to be opened with all relevant inputs pre-populated from details recorded within the logged data event.
