Creating Tissue Sampling Work Orders
Tissue sampling work orders can be created to identify and keep track of fields that will need to have tissue samples collected. This can help service providers keep track of their work in season, and ensure fields do not go overlooked.
Creating Tissue Sampling Work Orders
- In the Work Order tab, click Add Work Order to the right of the screen.
- Select "Tissue Sampling" for Type.
- Click "Save" to continue.
- Select Fields using the map area or the field list available in the top right
- Fields added will show up in the right hand pane as cards
- Fields with directed sampling layers identified as "Tissue" will automatically be referenced for the job, visually indicated with the "Use most recent" indication
- This can be unchecked to either not utilize a directed layer, or pick one that is not the most recent
Job Wizard - Lab
- Select desired Lab.
- (Optional) If desired, select desired package and input desired Account Number
- Make desired selections of the following
- Sampling Method: Select a sampling method for the tissue sampling event.
- The tooltip hover presented explains that a point or zone directed layer will be used based upon which method is selected
- Variety: This input allows the Variety of the crop to be input
- Growth Stage: This input allows for the crop growth stage to be input
- Crop: This input allows for the crop to be input
Job Wizard - Options
- Make desired selections
- Window Start and Window End Dates: These refer to the window of time that the work order is expected to be completed in. Click the input fields in turn and then click on the dates needed within the Calendar that appears. This is required and can be defaulted in Tools > Location Preferences to 'n' days, weeks, etc. from today.
- Window Start and End Date Alerts: Selecting these check boxes causes an email alert to be sent when either the start or the end date has passed.
- Send Notification Emails: Selecting this option causes notification emails to send whenever there is a status change for a job.
- Send Text Alert: This option causes job status updates to send text messages.
- Attach File: User can add attachments such as PDF files or any other file to the job they believe may be relevant.
- Note: Notes appear within "Job Details" and Work Order PDF reports under a "Notes" section
- Once all requirements in the Lab and Options Tabs are met, Click Save to create the Work Order and subsequent jobs.
