Agvance Soil Sampling Delivery Tickets

Step 1: Create a Soil Sampling Job

  1. Go to Work Orders in FieldAlytics and create a new job.

    Choose Soil Sampling as the job type.

    Select your Grower.

    • If the grower is connected to Agvance, the ERP Sync toggle will automatically switch to Yes, and the ERP tab will appear.
    • If the grower is not connected, the toggle stays on No and the job will not sync.

Step 2: Complete the ERP Tab

When a grower is Agvance-connected, fill in the ERP tab:

  • Inventory Site → Select the Agvance inventory site where the job belongs.

    Billable Service → Required for soil sampling jobs. This is how the job will be flagged "soil sample" in Agvance.

    • For example, your company may have a “Soil Sampling” service set up as a billable product in Agvance.

Step 3: Finish Job Details

Fill in the rest of your job information as usual, including:

  • Field(s)
  • Acres
  • Notes (optional)
  • Previous Crop (required for Agvance-connected soil sampling jobs)

Step 4: What Happens in Agvance

  • When you Accept the job
    • A Delivery Ticket is created in Agvance.
    • The ticket starts out as On Hold and Unloaded.

      When you Complete the job

    • The Delivery Ticket in Agvance is updated to remove the hold and mark the load as complete.

      If you edit the job or change status

    • The Delivery Ticket in Agvance is automatically updated to stay in sync.
