CaseIH Authorization

The CaseIH Authorization tool links FieldAlytics growers with an existing CaseIH Account facilitating the nightly syncing of data types: As Applied, As Planted, and Yield. 

Things to know before authorizing:

1. Boundaries must be setup in FieldAlytics for the data to associate. Setup all necessary boundaries before authorizing the connection for ingestion of data.

2.   Please Note: The screening process for duplicate data is based on the file type and naming being identical. If Raw Controller Files were loaded prior to the CaseIH Authorization, the CaseIH Authorization will result in a duplication of data for all ingested data types, as the file types are unique to each source. To prevent this refrain from loading alternative sources of data from other than CaseIH Authorization and/or Lock data layers to prevent duplication.

3.  Users can setup one or more unique CaseIH Authorizations under a single FieldAlytics user. Please Note: Data pulled in from the authorization will only associate to the profiles access of the authorizing user.

4. Upon setup of the connection, data will pull from the date of connection going forward into the future. If an historical pull of data is needed, please reach out to the Support Team to facilitate a backfill.

5. The CaseIH integration will only send files over that are stored in the CaseIH file format. Other non-CaseIH monitor formats uploaded in CaseIH website, will not be sent over to FieldAlytics via the API connection.

Setting up the CaseIH Authorization:

Click the Menu icon in the upper right hand corner of FieldAlytics screen.

Click "Tools"

The system opens "Tools" menu window. Use drop-down menu to select "CaseIH Authorization".

To establish a new connection, click the "+ New Authorization"(1) and fill out the Name. Once added it will display under the Authorization Name list(2), to the right of each Authorization Name with be an "Authorize"(3) button. Clicking the Authorize button will redirect you CaseIH website to link the desired account, follow steps and the account will be linked to start the nightly syncing of new data.
