Yield by Reports

**Note: At the time of initial release with 8.5, there is ongoing work to enhance and streamline the capabilities of this report. This report currently only supports reporting outcomes based upon configured Seeding/Fertility Zones, SSURGO, or single field analysis. Report configuration currently requires all inputs to be filled out, future work will make Layer 3 truly optional. This article will be updated as we continue to improve the analysis this report provides, and extend its coverage to multiple fields.

Yield by Reports allow users to configure yield analysis based upon up to two additional layers to produce a CSV or PDF report. Currently, the analysis allows As-Planted and Management zones to be selected to generate the report.

Accessing the Report and Crop Selection

1. At the grower or farm level, click "Reports" in the right hand panel
2. From the Reports dropdown, select "Yield by Reports" and click "Submit"
3. Select a Crop Year and Crop
   1. Crop Year and Crop options available are dependent upon data available for the profile
4. Click "Next"

Configuring the Report Analysis

1. On the Layer Selection step, select one of the available zones to use for the analysis and click "Next"
   1. With the 8.5 release, this step only allows the configuration of the As-Planted for Layer 2, then individual Management zones (one field), Fertility Zones, Seeding Zones, and SSURGO for Layer 3 (allowing multi-field configuration)

   2. Future releases will provide more advanced configuration options and allow the utilization of additional layers within the software

      

2. On the Order Selection step, set the order in which the analysis will run based upon the selected layers and click "Next"

   

3. On the field selection step, select fields available based upon layers selected from the configuration, click "Next"
   1. Fields that do not have layers available based on the configuration are not allowed to be selected
      1. Grey coloration indicates fields do not have data based on crop and year

      2. Red coloration indicates fields do not have the proper zone set for the analysis being requested

         

4. Select the desired report type, PDF or CSV
   1. Optionally enter any additional recipient email addresses
   2. Aggregate Results - In the instance the report has been configured to run across multiple fields, this option allows the user to aggregate the results across all fields, or present the results for fields independently (left unchecked)
5. Click "Run Analysis"
