Scouting Dispatch Support

To help strengthen the use of creating Scouting Work Orders, the mobile app now fully integrates to the populated and scheduled dispatches that have then been assigned out to Scouter Assets/Personnel. This update easily allows a mobile scout user to see specific fields assigned to them for current scouting needs and to easily load, populate and complete these tasks all while keeping office staff and other users update to date on progression and status.

Getting Started

From Web, users would need to filter, find and identify any Scouting Jobs that are currently OPEN and not Assigned. Once assembled, ensure that the Jobs have been assigned to the Scout Asset within the system. This action will automatically link the created job Dispatch list to the users mobile login account page.

From Mobile, click into the "Dispatch" module/tab. This will automatically show any Dispatch list that still has atleast 1 or more Open jobs under it. Users can easily expand or collapse the Dispatch List and verify the contents of each.

A simple "View Map" button allows the user to see ALL fields associated to the Dispatch. Clicking within any of the row items under the Dispatch will limit the exposure on the Map layer to just the field(s) associated to the selected job.

Select the "Load Job" button found at the bottom of the viewing window to begin your Scouting activities. A prompt to set the job status to "In Progress" will be presented.

When all Scouting entries (Observations / Recommendations) are fully filled out and done, select the upper menu button to "Save and Complete" the job. This will create the formal scouting event and update the Job Status. A full timestamped and dated history will show each status change for the job and display and status change notes related if supplied.

Once all jobs of a Dispatch have been completed, the list will automatically remove itself from the Mobile App and easily allow the user to manage any other potential Dispatches assigned to them.
