FieldAlytics Mobile Release v1.17

The FieldAlytics team is excited to introduce the following new features into version 1.17 of the FieldAlytics Mobile app as part of our upcoming scheduled feature release.


Dispatch

App Summary Attribute Additions and Requirements

Users will now have greater control and options for the final job completion details they wish to identify when closing out a job from the mobile application. Upon selecting the function to update the job status to “Complete” the user will see a more robust Application Summary form.

New attributes offered within this form include:

  • Crop Growth Stage
    • This will be a pre-filled pick list that is uniquely tied to the crop selection.
    • Crops not showing a growth stage selection pick list can be requested to be updated. Contact customer support.
  • EPA Disposal (Method)
    • There will be 4 current selections for the user to select. Based upon the geography and various state requirements, this list can be expanded.
      • Continued Use
      • Rinsed on Field
      • Saved Product
      • Used Product on Field
  • Asset Details
    • Two sub-categories are available for the user to fill out details related to the application event and equipment 
      • Ground Speed
        • Rate/Unit
      • Boom Height
        • Dimension/unit

Items identified within the Application Summary form are saved to the Work Order Job and can also be elected to be saved to a finalized field record event.

Locations also have the ability to declare which attributes from the Application Summary form are deemed “required” entries via the Tools > Location Prefs > Work Orders > App Summary Requirements feature. Any items not filled out on the App Summary form will provide the following alert notice for the user.

Map Refresh/Update Modifications

Users will now discover that any update or job change will force a full refresh of the map overview display. This modification will ensure all job details, job status levels and map colorization around this information is always showing to the user with the latest changes and updates on the job.

From both the primary Dispatch Overview landing page or from within a selected Work Order job, the map and information displays will have the latest details within their preview of the job(s).

Field Boundary Icon Display in Job Details

The Dispatch module now will also include additional visual assistance when working with and viewing the job details for selected Work Order Jobs from a dispatch list. Upon selecting a Job from the dispatch the “Fields” section of the Job Details has been updated to include the current thumbnail display of all fields contained within the job.


This new display becomes a great secondary assistance layer. User can easily ensure the proper field is getting selected based upon the image display. Users can also then update or change their map overlay value to attributes such as “Stop Number”, “Job” name or “Dispatch Number” knowing that the field name and display are now permanently showing within the details section of the page.


Work Orders

Field Boundary Icon Display in Job Details

Work Order jobs will now offer the user a thumbnail image of all fields contained within the selected job when working within the “Job Details” page. This display feature adds to the already existing option within Work Orders that included the field icon display when creating a new job or adding fields to an existing job.

With the field icon now showing, users can easily ensure the correct field is getting selected for any needed modifications or job status updates/changes.

“Grower Search” function added to Job Creation process

Users will now have the unique ability to either search for a Grower Name via a text input search option presented at the profile selection process, or they can pick a “recently used” Grower Name from a condensed listing based on recently created work orders.


Both options will ensure a quick and easy way to both find and select a desired grower without having to go through the traditional profile selection dropdown listing.

The “Grower Search” feature can be found at any level of the profile selection process. Only grower names that the user has access to, or based on current profile selection, will show within the results function.

Select Button update for “Add Field” and “Variety”

Keeping with the recent updates and changes to the work order entry form, users will now find 2 additional updates to selection processes during their job setup and creation. Both the “Add Fields” profile function and the “Add Variety” product selection function have been updated to now offer a clear solution to the addition function.

This new interface update brings the action button down into the main portion of the form and removes it from the page header where it was formerly just an icon display.

Performance Improvements

  • Implemented fix for "Save Error" when adding additional fields to an existing work order job.
  • Updated color shading within mobile app to match web program.
