FieldAlytics Mobile Release v1.15
The FieldAlytics team is excited to introduce the following new features into version 3.73 of the FieldAlytics software program as part of our upcoming scheduled feature release.
Work Orders
Fertilizer Additives in Chemical Work Orders
Users are now able to add fertilizer additives within a chemical work order job that originated from the mobile application. Within the chemical work order creation process the user will now be presented with a new page during the job setup to select a fertilizer additive product, application rate, unit, and optionally specifying a bin location.
Adding MerchantAg Billable Services for Connected Work Orders
Clients working with the Integrated MerchantAg ERP connection are now able to add any available billable services they have defined within their work order creation process. These selected services and the associated information and billing details that pertain to them will then be passed back over to MerchantAg when the job has been reviewed and accepted.
With the Job setup process, under the “Merchant Ag Options” step, users will now have the added option to include Billable Servicers. Users will be able access this new feature via the “Add Billable Service” action box. This feature will complement the other available Merchant ERP options that include the confirmation of the Inventory Site location and the desired Customer Address that is used for billing and shipping requirements.
Start the process by selecting the “Add Billable Services” function as seen below:
Next, select from the available listing of Billable Services, select the service that matches the requirements of the current job type and options you are setting up.
Adding Support for Quarts/Ton Units
Recently added in the FieldAlytics v3.73 web release was support for chemical and fertilizer product application rates in units of quarts/ton. Products added within this UOM selection will properly convert the rate for instances of product total calculations in accordance with supplied carrier rate and tank size values.
Within the Job setup process, select your desired product for the event, then proceed with the defined rate. Next, within the “Unit” dropdown list, “Quarts/ton” will be an available user selection to finalize this product entry.
Scouting
Configurable Scouting Attributes
In the most recent FieldAlytics v3.73 web release, users were provided location preferences to help limit what attributes they wish show or hide within a scouting event. This mobile release now implements selected attributes visibility within mobile scouting observations as well.
Example Setup for Scouting Attributes Location Preference:
With your preferences saved, you can now proceed to the Scouting utility within the Mobile application. Begin a new scouting event and within the “Add Observation” feature, you’ll notice a modified display list that will match up to the selected attribute list from your saved location preference.
At any time this list can be modified to allow editing to occur on past events or for updated display options moving forward on all new/future scouting observations made.
Showing Most Recent Scouting Selections
New convenience tools have been implemented within the mobile scouting tools. Previously users needed to scroll long lists to select crops, pests, insects, and diseases within a scouting observation. Now users will be able to search these lists along with seeing their most recent selections for quicker and simpler selection.
The display of the new lists will populate based on recent observation selections for Crops, Pests, Diseases and Weeds as well as Recommendations for product selection and use.
